Biography

Diamonds Are Forever is metalcore band from Cluj-Napoca, Romania. In the late of 2011 they merged from two already existing local bands and started a new project. By December 2011 they had released their first EP - 4 song material entitled "Whom Shall I Fear" and also a first music video for the single "The eyes of blinded sorrow" from their new EP. Driven by their local success, the band moves forward and start working on new songs.

Starting 2012, a new single was recorded along with a music video for it, called "Face Me" which was heavily promoted in their native country and online media. Gaining more notoriety, they started a daring project, and the band filmed a live DVD. "Bridges Are Born DVD" is a dual disk product: one disk contains a full live concert and the second disk contains a movie, documenting the bands 1'st year of existence and born process. Soon, a second music video for the upcoming EP is released( "The Scar"). This is the first preview of the second EP called "Momaentum" (2013), followed by the lyric video for the song "The Industry".
The natural progression followed and the work for the first full length album started. It's something new, it's different than what the band did previously. The first single is "My Fragile Heart Will Feed The Darkness". The rest is to come...

They had the chance to tour in Romania and nearby countries: Hungary, Ukraine, Moldova. To name a few of the bands they shared stage with: Unearth, Sepultura, Suicide Silence, Caliban, Veil of Maya, Betraying the Martyrs, Cancer Bats, Super Butt, Last Hope, Give Em' Blood, Subscribe, and many more, gaining a lot of positive feedback.

In 2013 they became the first Romanian band to reach the cinemas with their documentary movie from "Bridges Are Born" DVD. Already, the next year that followed a first glimpse of what is to become their full length album was to come out. A new single "My fragile heart will feed the darkness" was the one to disclosure the album music direction. The future looks good...
